Lawn Programs that produce lush green results.
(April-May) This application consists of a balanced fertilizer, a crabgrass preventative and weed control applied to the lawn at the proper time to ensure maximum results. The fertilizer will give the grass vital nutrients to ensure a healthy, green lawn while the crabgrass preventative and weed control will maintain the aesthetic beauty of the turf by ridding it of unsightly grasses and weeds.
Early Summer Application
(May-June) This application consists of a balanced fertilizer and weed control applied at the proper time to ensure maximum results. Because insects become active at this time, the property will be inspected at the time of application for surface turf-damaging insects. If any are found corrective measures will be taken at no additional cost, and property owner will be notified of technician’s findings.
(June-July) This application consists of a balanced, time-release fertilizer and weed control specifically designed to strengthen and feed the lawn during the hot and dry months of late summer. The fertilizer will slowly feed the grass root systems with balanced nutrients needed to sustain the grass during peak periods of stress. Weeds will also be treated with a spot-spray to minimize stress to the lawn.
Late Summer/Early Fall Application
(July-August) This application consists of a balanced time-released fertilizer and broadleaf weed control. The fertilizer will strengthen root development, which is vital to help the lawn recover from the stress of the hot summer months, while the weed control will eliminate unsightly weeds from the ornamental grass.
(September-October) This application consists of a balanced time-released fertilizer and broadleaf weed control. The fertilizer is designed to mildly feed the lawn during the fall, with the remainder of the fertilizer freezing in the soil. Fertilizer will then release in the early spring, providing a quick green-up for the lawn. Weeds will be treated as needed.
(July through August) This one-time application consists of a preventative insecticide applied at the proper time to prevent the infestation of turf-damaging insects. Once applied, this will create a barrier within the soil that will prevent insect damage from subsurface feeding insects throughout the summer and fall months.
This process is one of the most beneficial for your lawn and can be done in either spring or fall, depending on your preference. It is designed to help thickly thatched lawns “breathe” better by breaking down the excess thatch layer more quickly. Aeration is also very helpful in easing the conditions that make disease activity favorable, by breaking up thatch (as explained above), loosing compacted soil and aiding your turf’s water retention capabilities.
